The Medical Assistant will engage with patients, address inquiries, explain treatments, and offer guidance on health management. Clinically, they will support operations by triaging patients, performing basic procedures like taking vital signs and phlebotomy, and accurately documenting information in the EHR.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, along with either Medical Assistant certification and at least one year of experience, or two years of experience as a Medical Assistant. A current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
