This role involves working as an Inpatient Registered Nurse in the Observation Unit, typically scheduled for two 12-hour shifts per week (60% FTE) covering evening and night hours, including rotating weekends and holidays. The position is based at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program and hold current RN licensure in Illinois, along with bi-annual CPR certification. Required experience includes 2 years in an Emergency Room or Psychiatric Nursing setting, though community nursing experience is preferred.
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required Work Experience 911 Call Center Triage Only - 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting. Required 911 Call Center Triage Only - Community nursing experience. Preferred Licenses & Certifications Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required Bi-annual CPR certification. Required Specialty certification in area of concentration.
