The Nursing Care Assistant II provides direct patient care and assists with non-direct patient care unit coordination. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, recording vital signs, and assisting with personal care needs.
Candidates must complete Level I and Level II Nurse Aide education programs approved by the North Carolina Board of Nursing and be listed as NA I and NA II. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with BCLS certification.
