The Part-Time Minimum Data Set Assistant (MDS Asst-RN) will aid in conducting and coordinating the development, completion, and transmission of the resident assessment according to state requirements and facility policies. Key duties involve assisting with MDS completion, coordinating the process for timely submission, and collaborating with teams to gather data for care planning.
Candidates must possess 1-3 years of MDS experience, a nursing degree from an accredited college, and a current, unencumbered RN license in the state. Essential knowledge includes clinical standards, regulations, and reimbursement governing long-term care and Medicare participation.
