The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will implement the plan of care established by the OTR/L and physician, ensuring professional and competent care delivery. Key duties include screening residents, carrying out treatment programs, monitoring progress, and assisting the Registered Occupational Therapist with re-assessments and discharge planning.
Applicants must possess an associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and meet all state and national board licensure requirements, including an active state license. Required skills involve excellent organizational, time management, written, and verbal communication abilities, along with knowledge of ethical guidelines and the capacity to supervise aides.
