The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating geriatric patients with complex medical, cognitive, and functional needs, developing individualized treatment plans to enhance mobility and functional independence. This role involves collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care while adhering to all applicable standards and regulations.
Candidates must possess a current license and registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in New York State and must have current malpractice insurance in good standing. The role requires dedication to providing extraordinary compassionate care, patience, enthusiasm, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
