The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will establish and perform treatment programs for assigned residents, upgrading goods as appropriate and entering billing information accurately and timely. This role also involves consulting with the rehabilitation team, providing necessary equipment, designing special adaptations, and conducting training programs for workers or families.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, holding training certification by the AOTCB and current licensure in good standing with the NYS Board of Education. Preferred candidates will have one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility setting and possess the physical ability to perform duties requiring lifting and bending up to 50lbs or more.
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is trained and licensed, meeting the qualifications set forth by the NYS Board of Education and the NYS Rules and Regulation requirements. Graduate of an approved Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Training certification by the AOTCB and current licensure in good standing with the NYS Board of Education. One (1) year experience in the skilled nursing facility setting, preferred. Candidate will have the physical ability to perform job related duties, which may require lifting, bending, stooping, stretching, pulling and pushing up to 50lbs or more as needed.
