The trainee will assist technologists by preparing patients for CT exams, explaining procedures, learning proper positioning and safety techniques, and observing contrast media administration under supervision. Responsibilities also include supporting image processing, maintaining confidentiality, participating in training, and ensuring exam rooms are clean and stocked.
Candidates must possess current ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology, completion of an accredited Radiology program, and BLS certification, with a requirement to obtain ARRT (CT) certification within a specified timeframe. Strong interpersonal skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to learn specialized CT equipment operation are essential for success.
