The clinical psychologist provides assessment and therapeutic services, including extensive psychological evaluations, various forms of therapy, treatment planning, and discharge coordination for patients undergoing psychiatric care and rehabilitation. This role involves conducting detailed psychological assessments, interpreting results, and serving as a key member of the interdisciplinary treatment team.
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Psychology from an APA accredited graduate school and have two years of clinical experience, including a post-graduate year with supervision by a licensed professional. Licensure as a clinical psychologist in Virginia or West Virginia is required, along with successful completion and maintenance of de-escalation training.
Ability to work cooperatively and professionally with physicians and other health care providers. Must have a commitment to continuing education.
