This individual is responsible for scheduling all pre-operative testing and appointments, acting as a liaison between the office, surgical facility, patient, and primary care physician to ensure smooth patient surgical experiences. Essential duties include confirming necessary pre-operative preparations, managing all related communications, and accurately completing and proofing all preoperative paperwork using the EPM system.
Candidates must possess strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated computer literacy, along with the ability to meet established surgical scheduling volumes. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and two years of experience in a surgical specialty practice is preferred.
