The role is accountable for providing competent direct patient care based on established standards under leadership direction, while contributing to unit activities and enhancing the care delivery system at the unit level. Responsibilities include patient education, care coordination, telephone triage, patient assessment, and assisting with various special procedures.
Candidates must possess a positive attitude, flexibility, excellent assessment and critical thinking skills, strong interpersonal communication abilities, and demonstrate autonomous decision-making. This is a full-time position primarily scheduled for Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts.
GENERAL PURPOSE: Under the direction of leadership, is accountable for provision of competent direct patient care based on established standards. Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services and assumes an expanded role which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities. FT position available. Primarily Monday- Friday, 8 hour shifts. Responsibilities include: patient education, care coordination, telephone triage, patient assessment, and assisting with variety of special procedures.
