The Physical Therapy Assistant assists patients in their homes to regain independence by improving mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities. This role involves working collaboratively with the Physical Therapist, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and achieve established goals.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program and hold an active PTA license in the state of practice. A minimum of one year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting, current CPR/BLS Certification, and a valid driver's license with automobile insurance are also required.
