The Medical Lab Scientist will act as a critical diagnostic expert, executing complex laboratory tests across disciplines like hematology, chemistry, and microbiology to ensure accurate and timely results for patient care. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining major automated equipment, performing quality control, interpreting results, and notifying caregivers of critical values.
A Bachelor of Science in a biological or chemical science, as defined by CLIA, is required for this role. Preferred qualifications include various certifications such as ASCP, AMT, or specific specializations like Blood Banking or Molecular Biology.
