The incumbent is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing, and administering of occupational therapy modalities as prescribed by a licensed physician. This involves administering treatments to restore function, prevent disability, and help patients reach their maximum level of functioning.
Candidates must have graduated from an occupational therapy school approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association and hold a current California OT license. Additional requirements include the ability to handle stress, prioritize needs in short-staffed situations, and possess current BLS certification.
The incumbent is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. The incumbent administers treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. The incumbent also assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Job Requirements
