The CVOR RN is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery, covering preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. This includes ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and collaborating closely with the surgical and anesthesia teams.
Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of CVOR experience, along with current RN, BLS, and ACLS certifications. Previous experience in an Acute Care hospital setting or with the DaVinci XI system is also required.

The CVOR RN provides professional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery. This role involves preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care, ensuring patient safety, adherence to sterile technique, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other members of the surgical team.
Unit: Requirements:
5 x 8-hour days, 40 hours per week shifts vary between either 0630 - 1500 & 1045 - 1900 Some call and call back needed. Shifts are Monday - Friday on call would be 2-3 days per week depending on experience and cases. Every other weekend for On Call.
