The incumbent must demonstrate competency in providing patient care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, potentially directing the work of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Responsibilities include meeting productivity standards, completing accurate documentation following guidelines, and ensuring physician orders are correct.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Occupational Therapy degree program and must either already possess a California OT License or be board eligible to obtain one within six months. Previous experience as an Occupational Therapist, student, or intern is required, along with current BLS-CPR certification and a valid California Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
