The Medical Assistant will screen patients, obtain necessary information, and assist the physician or advanced practitioner during patient visits according to age-specific needs. This role also involves supporting patient care communication and maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms and the overall work environment.
A high school diploma or equivalent plus completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training program or equivalent experience is required. Candidates should preferably have at least one year of experience in a clinical, physician-office, emergency room, or hospital setting providing patient care, along with required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
