Oncology Navigation CMA/LPN/RN

We are seeking a compassionate and detail‑oriented CMA, LPN, or RN to support our Navigation RN and provider team within our Oncology, Hematology, and Infusion Center. This role is central to ensuring patients receive timely, coordinated, and supportive care throughout their oncology journey. The position works side by side with the Navigation RN and includes scribing for our provider to maintain accurate, real‑time clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Navigation RN to guide patients through the oncology care continuum.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as a supportive point of contact for patients, families, and providers.
• Act as a scribe during provider visits, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
• Support communication flow between the provider, Navigation RN, and care team.
• Maintain organized, thorough documentation and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

• A CMA, LPN, or RN who is organized, compassionate, and comfortable working closely with both patients and clinical staff.
• Strong communicator with excellent attention to detail, especially in documentation.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Dedicated to patient advocacy and delivering supportive, patient-centered oncology care.

Qualifications

• Active CMA, LPN, or RN credential in Iowa
• Experience in oncology, hematology, infusion therapy, or care coordination preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfort with electronic medical record documentation.
