The Registered Nurse in the endoscopy setting provides continuity of patient care by assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the nursing plan for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Responsibilities include overseeing patient needs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing direct care pre, intra, and post-procedure.
Minimum requirements include an Associate Degree as a Registered Nurse and experience in Medical-Surgical or Critical Care, along with Indiana RN licensure and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include Endoscopy and Moderate Sedation Administration experience, and a Bachelor's Degree.
