Operates multiple imaging modalities to produce accurate diagnostic examinations and assist in interventional procedures. Responsible for patient positioning, radiation safety, and ensuring high-quality image submission to PACS.
Requires graduation from a JRCERT-approved program and a valid Indiana Radiological Technologist license. Must hold ARRT certification and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
The Radiologic Technologist II, or Rad Tech II, competently operates in two or more modalities within Riverview Health’s Imaging department. This can include MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Specials, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography to produce accurate Diagnostic examinations and possible Interventional procedure. The Rad Tech II performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and responsible for designated areas or procedures as required.
Hours 11a-11p at Westfield Hospital Week Rotation

On CT call schedule rotation, on Westfield Holiday Rotation. 1 major 1 minor
Willing to cross train into CT for this role
Graduate of an approved Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
