The RN Infusion Nurse will provide direct patient care, including administering biologics and other infusible or injectable treatments, alongside educating patients on their therapies. Key duties involve establishing and accessing IVs and Ports, preparing and administering medications, and triaging patient inquiries.
Candidates must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, comprehensive nursing assessment skills, and excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities. A Registered Nurse (RN) Degree is required, with a BSN preferred, along with current state licensure and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
As an RN Infusion Nurse at Pure Infusion Suites, you will support our doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The position requires you to be comfortable with infusion and working by yourself alongside office staff. You will specialize in the administration of IV therapy treatments for patients with autoimmune disorders. Key Responsibilities · Responsible for providing direct patient care administering biologics and other infusible or injectables as ordered, as well as appropriate patient education · Start/Discontinue IV for infusion therapies · Establish PIV access · Access PIV & Ports · Medication preparation (Mixing) and Medication administration · Triage infusion patient inquiries · Ability to travel to other location(s) on occasion · Participates in performance improvement activities for the enhancement of care delivery offering suggestions and assistance towards the continuous quality improvement of patient care · Adheres to standards of safety and infection control, in the delivery of patient care · Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of and complies with all policies and procedures related to the performance of job duties Required Knowledge and Skills · Minimum 1-2 years nursing experience · Comprehensive Nursing Assessment · Excellent patient assessment and interpersonal skills · Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinic operations · Excellent customer service skills · We want nurses who are eager to learn and grow with our rapidly expanding organization · Ability to collaborate with others and offer outstanding customer service Education/Licensure/Technical Requirements · RN Degree, BSN Preferred · Current nursing license for applicable state · BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire · Ability to meet U.S. employment and eligibility requirements
