The Echo Sonographer performs diagnostic echocardiography procedures, operating ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data while ensuring patient comfort. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive clinical assessments and various specialized echocardiographic studies like TTE, 3D, and stress echo.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and be a graduate of an accredited Sonography institution, credentialed in Echocardiography Sonography upon hire. Registration must be obtained within 12 months, and Basic Life Support (CPR) certification is required upon hire.
