The Registered Nurse will collaborate with physicians to plan care, triage phone calls, and make necessary patient visits to evaluate conditions and provide comfort. Responsibilities also include supporting caregivers, administering medication, alleviating end-phase symptoms, and assisting families with paperwork and coping with loss.
Candidates must possess a valid Registered Nurse license for the State of Virginia and have proven experience as a hospice nurse or registered nurse. Essential qualities include knowledge of nursing care processes, medication guidelines, sound judgment, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
