The Nurse Practitioner will treat both pediatric and adult patient populations, performing minor procedures such as sutures, casts, and splints, while also overseeing EKG and X-ray reads. Responsibilities include collaborating with on-site support staff like Rad Techs, Medical Assistants, and Paramedics.
Candidates must be progressive and entrepreneurial Nurse Practitioners with 1-2 years of experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting, capable of treating patients aged 6 months and older. Required abilities include comfortably performing minor procedures and overview reads of EKGs and X-rays.
Treat both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages). Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), overview reads of EKGs and X-rays. Collaborate with on-site Rad Techs, Medical Assistants, and Paramedics for support. Opportunity to work with a Scribe. Dedicated Urgent Care Specialty – exclusively practice urgent care medicine – No Primary Care, DOT or Occupational Medicine in our urgent care position.
NP: 1-2 years’ experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required. Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an urgent care or emergency room setting. Ability to comfortably perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), overview reads of EKGs and X-rays. Licensure Current applicable state RN license required. National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) required. Applicable state license as a Nurse Practitioner w/Prescriptive Privileges (NP-PP) required. Current certification dependent upon the specific position to include Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association. Connect with us: Have questions or need more information?
