This position involves all activities associated with an Oncology infusion center pharmacy technician, including compounding hazardous medications and replenishing Emergency Department stock using Automated Dispensing Cabinets. Responsibilities require knowledge of pharmacy practice, federal and state laws, and pharmacology with an emphasis on antineoplastic therapies.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, though a Technician Training Program is desired. Required skills include competency with computer programs like Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to learn EMR systems such as Varian/Aria and Cerner.
