This role involves providing healthcare services to patients under the supervision of an orthopaedic physician, performing comprehensive patient evaluations, interpreting diagnostic data, and collaborating on the plan of care. Essential duties include administering treatments like injections, performing minor procedures, assisting in surgery, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Candidates must be either a Physician Assistant with a Bachelor's degree and NCCPA certification, or a Nurse Practitioner requiring a Master's degree, current RN licenses in Tennessee and Mississippi, and National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Previous experience in minor medical and emergency care is required for NPs, and strong computer literacy and communication skills are necessary for all applicants.
This position will assist our Total Joint team.
Provides health care services to patients under the direction, supervision and responsibility of the orthopaedic physician.
Master’s Degree Required in Nursing. Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Tennessee and Mississippi. Must hold and maintain current National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner; Previous experience in minor medical care and emergency care is required.
Able to communicate effectively in the English language.
Basic arithmetic skills are required.
Identifies and resolves problems promptly.
Must be computer literate. Intermediate computer skills required.
Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Tennessee and Mississippi. Must hold and maintain current National Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
Able to listen and respond well to questions and feedback.
