The sonographer will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, travel to various clinic sites, review patient data, and create reports to assist physicians in documenting findings and ruling out anomalies. They must also provide visual guidance for procedures like amniocentesis and maintain room supplies.
Candidates must be graduates of a CAAHEP-accredited program and hold RDMS certification with an OB/GYN specialty, requiring at least one year of high-risk OB or MFM sonography experience. Essential qualifications include knowledge of relevant anatomy, applied physics, HIPAA compliance, and strong interpersonal skills, along with legal authorization to work in the US.
