The Occupational Therapy Assistant will plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This role involves providing skilled interventions, monitoring patient response, instructing families, and completing all required documentation according to policy and regulations.
Candidates must possess an active/valid Texas license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), maintaining good standing with all regulatory bodies. Experience in SNF/Long term care is preferred, along with current knowledge of treatment practices.
