Responsibilities

• Although each center operates independently day-to-day, all four collaborate as fully staffed Texas Oncology clinics in the greater San Antonio and New Braunfels areas.
• The centers share a unified ARIA R&V database, Eclipse TPS (3D/IMRT/SBRT), Radcalc secondary check, and Sun Nuclear QA devices.
• Across the region, clinical resources include four Varian linear accelerators (C-Series and TrueBeam), a Nucletron HDR afterloader, four CT simulators (GE and Siemens), and a mobile GE PET/CT.
• Collectively, the centers treat approximately 140 patients per day.
• The physics and clinical team includes: 5 Radiation Oncologists 1 Chief Medical Physicist 4 Staff Medical Physicists 1 Chief Radiation Therapist 6 Medical Dosimetrists 11 Radiation Therapists 4 Lead Radiation Therapists

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have

• Board certification or board eligibility in therapy physics by the ABR A valid Texas state license 2+ years of experience Working knowledge of SRS, SBRT, and HDR Experience with Varian linear accelerators Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills
• Preferred
• Experience: Eclipse treatment planning experience HDR treatment planning and delivery ARIA proficiency Prior experience with SBRT and SRS programmatic workflows
