The Neurologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients presenting with injuries or illnesses while counseling them on preventive healthcare measures. Responsibilities also include achieving annual Patient Engagement and Quality & Safety goals and maintaining accurate documentation for quality care and reimbursement.
Candidates must possess a Doctorate in the specified medical field and be admissible to or certified by the Canadian or American Board. Applicants must also be legally licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota and/or Minnesota and be insurable under the Health System’s professional liability carrier.

Doctorate within specified field of medical practice from respective accredited school. Must be admissible to sit for either the Canadian or American Board or be certified by the Canadian Board and are members of either the Royal College of Physicians or Royal College of Surgeons, American board certification or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) board certification. Board certification in area of specialty must be obtained within six years of employment. Must be granted medical staff appointments at Altru and associated facilities as are necessary to the commission of duties prior to commencement of employment. Must be insurable under the Health System’s professional liability carrier prior to commencement of employment. Be legally licensed to practice medicine by the North Dakota Board of Medicine and/or Minnesota Board of Medicine, depending on the location of the practice to which they are assigned. Maintains accurate and timely documentation ensuring quality patient care and assurance of appropriate reimbursements to Altru. Performs other duties as assigned. Language
