The Radiation Therapist administers radiation therapy treatments to patients under supervision, ensuring accuracy in treatment delivery and patient safety. They also maintain patient records and assist in scheduling and billing.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiation therapy technology program and hold ARRT certification along with a valid state license for radiation therapy. Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
