The Medical Assistant will administer and coordinate necessary medical services while ensuring a positive patient experience, handling routine administrative and clinical tasks. Key duties include obtaining vital signs, processing and testing urine/blood samples, managing medical records, and coordinating patient appointments.
A minimum requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent along with a current medical assistant or EMT certificate from an accredited school, plus experience as a medical assistant. Preferred qualifications include graduation from an accredited medical assisting program, specific certifications (AAMA, AMT, NCCT), CNA/RMA status, and two years of experience in behavioral health.
