The role involves using trauma-informed interventions to support clients with histories of traumatic experiences and practicing specific trauma modalities like TF-CBT, EMDR, WET, and CPT. Responsibilities also include screening and assessing clients for readiness to participate in the specialized trauma program.
Candidates must possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, along with being fully licensed (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or within six months of full licensure. Required attributes include high emotional intelligence, a collaborative and client-centered approach, and demonstrated experience using modalities like ACT, TF-CBT, DBT, or EMDR.
