The Occupational Therapist will conduct thorough evaluations to identify barriers to independence and implement personalized therapeutic interventions to enhance the patient's ability to perform meaningful activities. Key duties include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating therapeutic activities, and recommending adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Candidates must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program, along with current state licensure and NBCOT initial certification. Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with the healthcare team.
Work Environment This role may be based in a hospital, outpatient clinic, school system, or skilled nursing facility. The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift or assist patients and remain active throughout the workday.
