The Occupational Therapist will conduct comprehensive evaluations, identify independence barriers, and implement personalized therapeutic interventions focusing on physical, cognitive, and emotional status. Key duties include facilitating activities to improve motor skills, training in ADLs, recommending adaptive equipment, and monitoring patient progress.
Candidates must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program, along with current state licensure and NBCOT initial certification. Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Work Environment This role may be based in a hospital, outpatient clinic, school system, or skilled nursing facility. The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift or assist patients and remain active throughout the workday.
