The Occupational Therapist will conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify barriers to independence and develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals. Responsibilities include facilitating therapeutic activities to improve physical and cognitive skills and training patients in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Candidates must possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program, along with current state licensure and NBCOT initial certification. Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills are essential for addressing complex patient needs and collaborating with the healthcare team.
Work Environment This role may be based in a hospital, outpatient clinic, school system, or skilled nursing facility. The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift or assist patients and remain active throughout the workday.
