The role involves performing entry-level General, OB, and/or Vascular ultrasound procedures for physician review, adapting exams based on patient anatomy and habitus. Responsibilities also include assisting physicians during exams, preparing patients for interventional procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and completing necessary documentation.
Required qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of six months of clinical ultrasound experience, along with current Basic Life Support - CPR certification. Candidates must also hold registration as a Technologist Radiography (ARRT) or Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), or be completing a hospital-based ultrasound training program.

Job Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in a critical care / intensive care unit. ADN or Nursing Diploma Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse from the state(s) in which he or she will be practicing and/or compact state license Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) - Provided by American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support(ACLS) - Provided by American Heart Association (AHA) Other credentials may be required based on specialty and area(s) of assignment as specified by the requesting facility, state license and other regulatory requirements for local, state and federal agencies. Certification in specialty preferred; certifications and competencies to support care area and patient population served.
