Physician, Urology (Pediatric Specialist)

Overview

• WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 500 physicians in a variety of specialty areas.
• Our organization places a high value on quality, caring and compassionate physicians and we are committed to providing state-of-the-art health care to our patients and the community we serve.
• We are currently seeking physicians with an interest and fellowship training in Pediatric Urology to join our group in Raleigh, NC.
• Our team currently consists of 2 Pediatric Urologists physicians and 1 APP.
• We are partnered with 12 General Urologists and 4 Pediatric Surgeons.
• Our physicians provide inpatient care at WakeMed Children's Hospital in Raleigh, NC as well as outpatient services in various ambulatory settings.
• Operative cases are done at WakeMed Raleigh and surgical centers, with optional time in our pediatric ambulatory Sedation Suite.
• Fantastic opportunity for those who have an interest in clinical teaching as our physicians also supervise Urology residents and third and fourth-year medical students.
• Qualified candidates must be BE/BC.
• The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division.
• The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APP's within their division.
• The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice.
• Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices and WakeMed.
