The role involves the examination, evaluation, assessment, and interpretation of clinical data to provide care for patients with podiatric concerns and complex wound management. Primary duties include interviewing patients, ordering and evaluating tests, documenting findings, and coordinating patient care with physicians.
Candidates must have a Master of Science degree or higher, completion of a Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Certification, and be registered with the Idaho Board of Nursing as a certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Experience in Orthopedic Medicine or Sports Medicine is ideal, and Orthopedic and Neuro experience is a plus.

General Summary of Position The NP or Physician’s Assistant role includes examination, evaluation, assessment and interpretation of clinical data to provide care for patients with podiatric concerns and complex wound management. Professional practice is in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team. A background in Orthopedic Medicine or Sports Medicine is ideal.
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
