The Licensed Practical Nurse Acute Care is responsible for delivering patient care in an acute care hospital setting by utilizing the nursing process, operating under the supervision of a registered nurse and following physician orders. This role requires adherence to National Patient Safety Goals appropriate for the level of patient contact.
Candidates must possess current licensure as an LPN in Oklahoma or a Nurse Licensure Compact state, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire. Preferred qualifications include prior LPN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
