The Histotechnician will embed and perform microtomy on surgical materials for pathologist examination, as well as execute special stains and immunohistochemical procedures. They will also assist with morgue duties and laboratory equipment maintenance as required.
Candidates must be eligible to sit for the HT(ASCP) certification within one year and must have successfully completed a NAACLS accredited Histotechnology program or meet specific academic and work experience criteria. Preferred qualifications include strong embedding and microtomy skills.
