The LPN will provide direct and indirect care to patients primarily supporting Cardiology, while also floating to Endocrinology, Nephrology, Genetics, and Hematology services. Duties include performing patient intake, administering medications and vaccinations, collecting specimens, performing EKGs, and documenting care in the electronic health record.
Candidates must have graduated from an approved or accredited Practical Nurse program and possess twelve months of appropriate clinical experience, though exceptional performers with six months may be considered. A current North Carolina LPN licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) and BLS certification are required.

We are seeking an LPN to be an integral member of the healthcare team and provide direct and indirect care to patients at the Duke Children's Creekstone Clinic in Durham, NC. Professional development opportunities include the ability to advance on the LPN clinical ladder and participate in clinic committees. This is a multi-specialty role supporting various clinics at the Duke Children's Creekstone location.
The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
