The role involves providing rewarding work by helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities grow, learn, and live well, while developing meaningful relationships with them. Responsibilities include supporting participants with personal hygiene, complex needs, behavioral challenges, and developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
Candidates must be compassionate, patient, and reliable, with a High School Diploma or equivalent not being required for this position. Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred, along with a valid driver's license and access to an insured vehicle.
