Primary duties involve all aspects of histotechnology and accessioning, including tissue processing, microtomy, embedding, and staining, with potential grossing duties based on qualifications. The role also requires completing logs, equipment maintenance, and general troubleshooting.
Candidates must possess either a BS or Associates degree as required by CAP, along with ASCP HT or HTL certification. Successful applicants must also pass a background check, drug screening, and be authorized to work in the United States.
