The Challenge (Job Summary)
NOMS Healthcare is seeking to hire a Full Time Clinical Super User who is passionate about providing quality healthcare to our patients while gaining clinical experience in multiple specialties. The Clinical Super User is responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, chart management, scheduling appointments and assisting with in office procedures; other duties may include back office ACO and IT tasks. The Clinical Super User will be the lead Super User in their county and will travel to area offices to assist with daily clinical functions.
Your Day to Day & Essential Functions
Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA regulations and policies.
Assists in area offices that need additional clinical assistances and support.
Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include: checking schedules and organizing patient flow; accompanying patients to exam/procedure room; assisting patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exam, etc.; collecting patient history; performing screenings per provider guidelines; assisting physicians/nurses with various procedures; charting; relaying instructions to patients/families; answering calls and providing pertinent information.
Fulfills clerical responsibilities as assigned which may include: sending/receiving patient medical records; obtaining lab/x-ray reports, hospital notes, referral information, etc.; completing forms/requisitions as needed; scheduling appointments; verifying insurance coverage and patient demographics; managing charts to ensure information completed and filed appropriately.

Maintains CPR certification
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant Certification or License Practice Nurse (CMA, NRCMA, RMA or LPN) Required.

One year experience with being a clinical lead.

Working Conditions, Physical & Mental Demands
This position works in an environment that is a combination of medical office and exam/procedure room settings. The office is well-lighted, well-ventilated, adequate space. There is the potential for exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions common to medical office setting. The ideal candidate must be able to use appropriate body mechanics techniques when making necessary patient transfers and helping patients with walking, dressing, etc. You must be able to lift up to 30 pounds of supplies.
