The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will plan and administer treatment to residents with disabilities to relieve pain, restore function, and promote healing, providing skilled services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. Responsibilities also include instructing patients and families, monitoring treatment response, and completing all required documentation according to policy and regulations.
Candidates must possess an active/valid Texas license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and valid COTA certification, remaining in good standing with all regulatory agencies. SNF/Long term care experience and knowledge of the Net Health Electronic Documentation System are preferred, along with the ability to manage diverse patient personalities.
