The technologist will perform all directed ultrasound procedures, ensuring patient safety and proper equipment functionality, while also documenting all completed procedures as required by physician orders. Responsibilities also include maintaining examination rooms, stocking supplies, and potentially assisting with administrative tasks like answering phones and patient scheduling.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, with graduation from an ultrasound school preferred, and must be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or registry eligible. Essential abilities include proficiency in ultrasound modalities, knowledge of anatomy, strong organizational skills, and excellent customer service and critical thinking abilities.
