The therapist evaluates and assesses patients to establish functional, measurable goals, providing treatment according to a written plan of care to promote the restoration of functional abilities. Responsibilities also include planning for discharge, documenting findings, and potentially supervising clinical students and support staff.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy (OT) program and possess basic computer literacy skills, with Occupational Therapy licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire. Entry-level experience is preferred, and advanced training or certification in the primary practice area is desired.
