The Advanced Practice Provider will manage a caseload of patients in the Genitourinary (GU) Oncology Program, exercising autonomous decision-making in assessment, diagnosis, and initiating delegated medical treatments. Responsibilities include coordinating diagnostic tests, performing documentation for government agencies, refilling prescriptions, and attending weekly conferences.
Minimum requirements include a college or university degree and at least two years of relevant work experience in a related job discipline, along with current or eligible State of Illinois licensure/registration. Candidates must be able to perform physical examinations, obtain medical information, and be familiar with clinical research trials.
Education: Minimum requirements include a college or university degree from an accredited school/college. Work Experience: Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through a combination of education and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a related job discipline.

Licenses and Certifications: Once licensed and as needed, apply for a mid-level practitioner controlled substance license and DEA number. Privileged and credentialed through UCM Medical Staff Office prior to start date. Technical Skills or Knowledge: Conduct physical examinations and health assessments. Interview and obtain medical information. Proficiency in the use of computers. Preferred Competencies Demonstrated clinical competency, effective leadership and teaching skills.
