Physical Therapist (PT) Acute Care PRN

• Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Acute Care team.
• This position is PRN or as needed for intermittent coverage needs, working a varied schedule to include weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed by the department and availability for more shifts by request.
• Must be able to train during the week.

• Physical Therapist PRN Job Responsibilities: The Physical Therapist PRN selects evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.
• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols.
• Perform re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe, form, and content of written evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
